New version of Axence ConnectPro: simplified external connection

Axence has released a new version of Axence ConnectPro, introducing expanded diagnostic capabilities, improved remote session management, and a simpler way to support devices located outside the local network.

The update develops ConnectPro beyond traditional remote desktop access. The platform now supports the complete IT assistance process – from receiving a support request and diagnosing the problem to performing administrative actions and connecting remotely to the affected device.

By bringing these capabilities together in one system, Axence ConnectPro gives administrators more context before a remote session begins. IT teams can check the device’s condition, investigate the cause of an issue, and perform corrective actions without switching between several separate tools.

What’s new:

  • Cloud Relay: a new cloud-based communication layer that enables connections beyond the local network without port forwarding or a dedicated Relay server.
  • Comprehensive diagnostic capabilities: access to PowerShell, running processes, files, the Windows registry, and a range of administrative actions.
  • Secure connectivity: end-to-end encrypted communication delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure.

Remote support beyond the local network

One of the main additions in the new version is Cloud Relay, a cloud-based communication layer that complements the existing on-premises architecture.

Axence ConnectPro remains an on-premises solution, while Cloud Relay simplifies communication between the Agent and Management Console when a supported device is located outside the local network.

Administrators can establish such connections without configuring port forwarding, deploying a separate Relay server, or manually defining network routes. This reduces the amount of infrastructure preparation required and makes remote support easier to provide across distributed environments.

Communication through Cloud Relay is protected with end-to-end encryption using Cloudflare infrastructure. The transmitted data is not recorded or stored by intermediaries.

More diagnostic tools for administrators

The updated version provides administrators with a wider range of tools for investigating and resolving technical problems.
Axence ConnectPro includes access to PowerShell, running processes, files, the Windows registry, and administrative actions.

Device information can be reviewed before the administrator starts a remote desktop session, this makes it possible to understand the situation more accurately and select the appropriate response. In many cases, administrators can resolve an issue in the background without taking control of the desktop or interrupting the user’s work.

PowerShell support also enables scripts to be executed directly within the platform. This allows IT teams to perform advanced diagnostics, automate routine actions, and troubleshoot devices remotely.

Improved remote session control

The new version of Axence ConnectPro also expands the controls available during remote support sessions.

The platform supports multiple monitors, user consent before connection, mouse and keyboard locking, and screen masking during maintenance. These capabilities help administrators manage remote sessions more effectively while protecting the user’s privacy.
QuickHelp provides an additional option for devices that do not have a permanently installed Agent. It can be used for one-time assistance, support for critical devices, or remote service provided to external customers.

A single platform for the complete support process

Axence ConnectPro is designed for IT administrators and support teams responsible for employees working in offices, remotely, or across multiple locations.

The solution combines support request management, device diagnostics, administrative tools, and remote access within a single organized environment. It is particularly useful for IT departments that handle a large number of requests and need to reduce reliance on manual configuration and separate support applications.

With the latest update, Axence ConnectPro strengthens its remote support capabilities while preserving the control of an on-premises deployment. The addition of Cloud Relay simplifies external connectivity and helps administrators diagnose and resolve technical issues more quickly, regardless of where the supported device is located.
