G2’s Fall 2026 results reflect the breadth of that approach. Cynet is featured in 269 reports across 11 security categories, including XDR, MDR, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Endpoint Management, Incident Response, Cloud Security, UEBA, and, for the first time, SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
Across these reports, Cynet achieved 164 top-10 rankings, 81 top-five positions, 41 top-three placements, and 10 #1 rankings.
UEBA, XDR, and Incident Response deliver the strongest results
Cynet’s most prominent overall performance is in User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), a capability that has become increasingly important for securing the modern attack path.
Modern attackers frequently gain access through legitimate credentials instead of relying on malware. After entering an environment, they may use valid accounts and legitimate tools to move through systems. This can make malicious activity much more difficult to separate from normal user behavior. UEBA addresses this challenge by creating baselines for typical activity across users and other entities. It then identifies deviations that may point to compromised accounts, privilege misuse, suspicious access, or lateral movement.
This behavioral context becomes particularly important when an attacker moves across identities, endpoints, applications, and other parts of an environment. Detection no longer has to depend exclusively on a known malicious file or signature. Security teams can instead recognize when a trusted account or resource starts acting in an unusual or potentially malicious way, enabling earlier intervention along the attack path.
Cynet places in the top 10 in all 24 UEBA reports, with 21 top-five rankings, 14 top-three placements, and eight #1 positions.
Its eight #1 rankings include the EMEA Regional Grid Report, as well as multiple Usability, Results, and Implementation indices covering different market segments.
Extended Detection and Response (XDR) is another category in which Cynet performs especially well. The platform secured 11 top-three placements and 24 top-10 rankings across 29 reports.
Boosted Security Efficiency with Seamless Integration
Anna, a G2 reviewer, stated that she liked how useful Cynet was and how much information it gave. She added that she liked the way the alerts came through, as they were easy to read and understand, and noted that she loved how quickly Cynet helped their efficiency in getting through all of their alerts.
This G2 performance follows additional independent recognition received earlier in the year. In the 2026 GigaOm Radar for XDR, Cynet was recognized as both a Leader and an Outperformer in the Innovation/Platform Play quadrant. GigaOm assessed 25 XDR vendors based on detection capabilities, emerging functionality, and business criteria. The results supported Cynet’s approach to combining protection and response capabilities across the attack path.

Moving into the top 10
Twelve Cynet rankings advanced from outside the top 10 in the previous season into the top 10 in Fall 2026. The most significant gains were recorded across Endpoint Protection, EDR, XDR, and SIEM.
The Fall 2026 results also show substantial upward movement in individual reports.

Effective Built-In Protection with Straightforward Management
Buse, a G2 reviewer, pointed out that the built-in rules were genuinely effective for protection. They noted that configuration and ongoing management were straightforward and that they were able to monitor their attack surface through a lightweight agent.
Several rankings that had already reached the top 10 climbed even higher this season.
The Small-Business Results Index for SIEM rose from #7 to #2. The Enterprise Results Index for Endpoint Management advanced from #10 to #5.
These gains are significant because they are not concentrated in one product category. Cynet is strengthening its position across multiple stages of the attack path.
A #2 entry into SSPM
Fall 2026 also represents Cynet’s first inclusion in G2’s SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) category.
Cynet debuted at #2 in the SSPM Grid Report.
This first appearance extends Cynet’s G2 presence into another part of the attack path. It also places the platform near the top of the SSPM category immediately upon entry.
The broader perspective
Attackers do not operate according to product categories. They search for the easiest route through an environment and move across identities, endpoints, SaaS applications, cloud environments, and networks in pursuit of their objective.
Effective security therefore requires visibility and protection capable of following activity across those different layers.
Cynet’s Fall 2026 G2 results illustrate the breadth of this approach. Across 269 reports spanning 11 categories, Cynet earned 164 top-10 rankings, including 81 top-five placements, 41 top-three positions, and 10 #1 rankings.
The overall trend is also positive. Among reports that allow comparison with the previous season, 121 improved in ranking. New appearances also broadened Cynet’s presence into SSPM, as well as additional regional reports for Cloud Security, Incident Response, and Endpoint Management.
Cynet’s established performance in UEBA, XDR, and Incident Response is now accompanied by continued gains in SIEM, EDR, Endpoint Protection, and Endpoint Management. Taken together, the Fall 2026 results show how Cynet’s comprehensive approach to protecting the attack path is translating into recognition across an increasingly wide range of cybersecurity categories.
